New hand control

Experiencing that the handcontrol in my personal car was lacking in areas of function, I undertook recreating a new handcontrol to perform better than the original. Reverse engineered, researched materials, 3-d modeled in cad, cnc machined, some assistance from Ironwood Artistic in New River - AZ, and finished with a nice comfortable grip I picked out and installed by me. Performs quite nicely. The (old)control can be seen in action in this video from an earlier post.

[Not pictured]All related fasteners were changed from steel to titanium.
Heavy and clunky handcontrol on the left, my improved lightweight control on the right. The control on the left is chrome plated...which adds weight to the already heavy steel. The control on the right is the natural brushed/satiny finish of aluminum...no need to chrome.
